Mounting as a Floating Image in a Frame with GLass

Details of a Frame with Glass and its special features: white interior, its Artglass Anti-Reflective glass, white edges added to the Fringed Fine Art print placed on the integrated riser system. The print seems to float.

The Mounting:

The image is mounted on an extension and placed 10 or 20 mm from the bottom of the frame depending on the model chosen. This enhancement is invisible, and gives the impression that the image is floating in the middle of the frame.

The interior sides of the frame and part of the bottom remain visible. They are white, which adds brightness to the entire frame.

You can choose the value of the gap between the edge of the paper and the inner edges of the frame (2, 3, 5 or 7 cm).

You can also choose the value of the white edges around your image. (Added white edges)

The Framing

A photographic print of the famous Great Wave of Kanagawa on Fine-Art Hahnemühle Deckle Edge Paper mounted in a magnificent Frame with Artglass glass.

The image is protected by 2 or 3 mm anti-reflective Artglass, resistant to 70% UV rays.

Our glass frames have an integrated suspension system which, in combination with the wall slat, allows them to remain parallel to the wall.

As the slat is pre-drilled, you simply place it horizontally on the wall.

After hanging, you can still move your frame to the left or right without having to do any additional work.

Adding White Borders

You can add white borders to your picture during the Online Order. You can choose from the following widths: 2 - 3 - 5 - 8 - 10 - 12 and 15 cm.
The white border is added to your image size. So nothing of your original image will be cropped. No white border can be added to the maximum dimensions. (max. A3+ ou A2).

Invisible Protective Spray

Un tirage photographique de la fameuse Grande Vague de Kanagawa sur papier Fine-Art Hahnemühle Frangé auquel on applique du spray de protection invisible d'Hahnemühle.

Hahnemühle Protective Spray protects digital Fine Art prints from external influences. The aerosol spray lays like a fine film on the paper, without changing the paper structure. It fixes colours of pigment-and dye ink and prevents an eventual colour fading also the intensity and the high brilliance of the colours stay permanently.

The coating increases the abrasion resistance of Fine Art papers, so the risk of fingerprint marks and scratches are reduced. Hahnemühle Protective Spray contains a UV absorber and thus offers additional protection against UV light.

The improved formulation is fast drying. A yellowing of the print due to the spray is not possible.
